Kuldip Korotana

The curiosity of being a performer began when I was doing a mechanical engineering program and saw an amateur dramatic group performing. I knew that was what I wanted to do. So having done my "apprentice" in amateur drama for 5 years, I felt it was time to move to London and fulfil my dream of going to drama school — this took a further 5 years and 3 different drama schools. I began my training at East 15 Acting School, continued at The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, and completed a two-year postgraduate acting course at the School of the Science of Acting, now known as The Kogan Academy of Dramatic Arts — going to Moscow to study at GITIS — Moscow Arts Theatre along the way.

After building my career in the UK with determination, curiosity and a deep respect for the work, I moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to do more film and TV. I continued developing my screen craft at the New York Film Academy (NYFA), graduating in 2011. Fluent in Punjabi and Italian and learning French, I bring warmth, cultural depth and a distinctive point of view to every role. I'm a member of British Actors Equity Union and SAG-AFTRA, with credits available on IMDb.

My work spans theatre, television and short film in both the UK and the United States. The stage will always feel like home — the place where my training began and my connection with an audience comes alive — but film remains an enduring passion. I continue to seek honest, memorable characters and stories that bring people together. And football has always been another one of my passions — I follow Leeds United avidly.
